Go lessons with Portuguese captions

If Portuguese is the language you prefer for Go study, compare the teacher’s approach as well as the communication options. Captions can help you follow a teacher who speaks another language, while a shared spoken language may be a more comfortable fit.

Baduk Teacher offers translated captions in Portuguese with Go-specific terminology guidance. Captions can be delayed, mistaken or unavailable. Discuss your language needs with the teacher before booking, including how to repeat or clarify an explanation if captions fail. Our translation guide explains the capabilities and limits.

What to discuss before a lesson

Bring a game and identify a moment when you stopped understanding the position. Use the shared board to retrace your choices with the teacher and check the meaning of unfamiliar terms.

Compare the profiles below or browse all teachers. Check spoken languages, listed rank, lesson format, price and available times; this page does not guarantee a teacher who speaks Portuguese is available. Contact a teacher through their profile to discuss the fit before booking.

Common questions

Do I need to speak the teacher’s language?

Portuguese captions can help when the teacher speaks another language. Before booking, discuss how you will ask questions and clarify uncertain translations.

Brazilian or European Portuguese?

The classroom offers both Brazilian and European Portuguese language settings. Select the option that fits how you speak. This does not establish the teacher’s accent or spoken languages; confirm those on the profile or with the teacher.

Who are the teachers?

The list below is not restricted to Portuguese-speaking teachers. Compare profiles for spoken languages, rank, teaching background and current lesson options.

Can I rely on captions for every explanation?

Captions can be delayed, mistaken or unavailable. Ask the teacher to clarify uncertain phrases and show variations on the shared board. Agree on a communication plan before booking; the Portuguese language setting does not guarantee complete or accurate translation.
